Plum-Glazed Sausage

Plum Glazed Sausage

This recipe works with any fresh sausage such as Bratwurst or Bockwurst.

  • 3/4 cup Plum Preserves
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Thyme
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 lbs Fresh Sausage


  • In a small sauce pan mix first 4 ingredients over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring often
  • Remove from heat and separate in half
  • Grill sausage, 5 minutes then apply half the plum glaze to both sides of the sausage and grill until done
  • Remove from heat and let sit for 5 min. Serve with remaining plum glaze
